Visionary Entrepreneur:

The foregoing content of this website, "Tidal Village", depicts our truly unique and interesting community of the past and present.

We suggest for background information and present-day descriptive comparison that the condensed clip entitled "Bear River" on our home page be read.

In conjunction with that, we would like to point out that the Fundy tide still enters our tidal river twice daily, the banks of the river ravines have the same incline as always, the tributaries still flow, the eagles still soar, the many varieties of hardwood trees still grow, providing their glorious colour, land is still plentiful and rich, and our temperatures year-round compare favourably with the remainder of Nova Scotia.

In keeping with the aforementioned on another page, we would like to suggest some concepts for consideration.

Please note: The Village of Bear River is not incorporated and therefore all regulations fall under the guidelines of the Municipalities of Digby and Annapolis, and the Province of Nova Scotia.

a) First, visit and check us out and compare all aspects.

b) Consider if you have an interest, service, and/or concept that could complement this community.

c) Would you be interested in any aspect of the development of a model Eco Village in Bear River?

d) If you are involved in the construction industry, would you consider the building of small cottages on the hillside to serve as seasonal or monthly accommodations to visiting artisans, also to be in keeping with an Eco Village?

e) If you are presently in this area or not, we do have for consideration an opportunity to provide a canoe and kayak rental and/or tour business on the Bear River described as the Bear River Experience on this website.  Basic infrastructure is in place: office area, phone, internet, parking, washrooms, and launch areas available FREE to a qualified, credible applicant.  Email: This email address is being protected from spambots.
